Welcome to the official Corning Police Department blog. The goal of the Corning Police Department blog is to keep our citizens informed of current events in and around the City of Corning that involve the police department, as well as provide information regarding the services that the police department offers. The Corning Police Department would like to provide citizens with accurate and up to date information of incidents that are occurring or have occurred in this area. The Corning Police Department would like to give the citizens of Corning a chance to view our police officers being pro-active, hardworking members of our community. We will keep citizens informed of recent arrests, and share with you photos and information of contraband that has been removed from the streets of our city. We will also, in some cases, post suspect descriptions and surveillance footage in regards to crimes that have been committed in hope that a member of the community may recognize a suspect involved. Corning Police Department would also like the citizens of Corning to get to know the members of our department and make citizens more comfortable in approaching them for assistance if needed. Corning Police Department will use this service as a forum to keep our community informed about what’s happening in their neighborhoods.
