Child Abuse Arrest

On Wednesday June 24, 2015 Corning Police officers arrested Jesse Lee Kerby of Corning for multiple child abuse charges. Officers from the Corning Police Department conducted an ongoing investigation of reported child abuse, and after an extensive investigation, the suspect was apprehended near the 1900 block of Solano St. and taken into custody without incident. Mr. Kerby was transported and booked into the Tehama County Jail on several felony charges and is currently being held on $226,000 bail.
